Reflective Teaching
Reflection is an important part of teaching. As teachers we need to continuously reflect on our experiences. Reflection enables us to look at and evaluate the connections between what we do and how this contributes to student learning.
It is important to know how to learn what is good and what is not about our teaching. However, we need to know about some specific techniques that would help us to evaluate our teaching.
When teachers reflect on their teaching practices, there are steps they go through in this reflection cycle as illustrated in this image.
